Speach The Cardiovascular System

Good morning..
The hororable my lecturer, the hororable all of my beloved friends,
We must give thankz to our god, because of god’s blessing we can stard here until today.
First, of all I would like to introduce my self, my name is Made Udayati. I am a Nursing student in Wira Medika PPNI Bali Institute Health Science of 3 semester

My beloved lecturer and friends, today I will deliver a speech about : the cardiovascular system

The cardiovascular system includes the heart, blood, and the blood vessels. The heart consists of 2 muscular pumps known as the left and right ventricles. The ventricles have 2 reservoirs called atria (left and right). Each ventricle acts to serve different circulations. The right ventricle shifts deoxygenated blood into the pulmonary circulation. Blood enters the network of capillaries in the lungs and through a process of diffusion carbon dioxide is lost and oxygen is acquired ; it then returns to the left atrium. The left ventricle is the pump responsible for delivering blood into the systemic circulation where it carries nutrients and oxygen to the tissues.
In the diagram, the vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood are colored red, and the vessels that carry oxygen-poor blood are colored blue.
This process of blood flow within your body is called circulation. The one-way circulatory system carries blood to all parts of your body. Arteries carry oxygen-rich blood away from your heart, and veins carry oxygen-poor blood back to your heart.
The blood is sometimes compared to a river, but the arteries are more like a river in reverse. Arteries are thick-walled tubes with a circular covering of yellow, elastic fibers, which contain a filling of muscle that absorbs the tremendous pressure wave of a heartbeat and slows the blood down. This pressure can be felt in the arm and wrist - it is the pulse. Eventually arteries divide into smaller arterioles and then into even smaller capillaries, the smallest of all blood vessels. One arteriole can serve a hundred capillaries. Here, in every tissue of every organ, blood's work is done when it gives up what the cells need and takes away the waste products that they don't need. Now the river comparison really does apply. Capillaries join together to form small veins, which flow into larger main veins, and these deliver deoxygenated blood back to the heart. Veins, unlike arteries, have thin, slack walls, because the blood has lost the pressure which forced it out of the heart, so the dark, reddish-blue blood which flows through the veins on its way to the lungs oozes along very slowly on its way to be reoxygenated. Back at the heart, the veins enter a special vessel, called the pulmonary arteries, into the wall at right side of the heart. It flows along the pulmonary arteries to the lungs to collect oxygen, then back to the heart's left side to begin its journey around the body again.
Your cardiovascular health
Your lifestyle plays an essential part in maintaining your long-term cardiovascular health. A healthy diet, moderate drinking, plenty of exercise, and not smoking can all help to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system.
What are the thumb rules for a layman to take care of his heart?
1. Diet – Less of carbohydrate, more of protein, less oil
2. Exercise – Half an hour’s walk, at least five days a week; avoid lifts and avoid sitting for a longtime
3. Quit smoking
4. Control weight
5. Control blood pressure and sugar

Taking Care of Your Cardiovascular System
Your heart is central to your body’s health, so taking care of your cardiovascular system is a vital element in maintaining your livelihood. Ongoing stress, lack of exercise and a poor diet can put strain on your heart and leave you at higher risk for cardiovascular problems such as heart attack or stroke. Here’s a breakdown of how you can take care of your cardiovascular system to improve your overall health.
Cut Down on Fats and Sweets,Increase Whole Grains, Fruit and Vegetable IntakeUse Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Cooking, Eat Three Portions of Fish Weekly, Exercise Regularly, Floss Daily, Get Plenty of Sleep, Practice Stress Management,Take Aspirin

This it the cardiovascular, I hope the father / mother can understand. In conclusion I thank you for your attention, sorry if there are words that are less heart in the ladies and gentle man.
Thank you.
